Easily and securely record, update, share, and monitor your environmental operations.
Recording your results should be as easy as possible, while ensuring accuracy. Goldplate was designed and built from the ground up, alongside the technical, managerial and laboratory staff that each perform their roles in recording and investigating the results. Working in a live environment, we then processed thousands of results, and hundreds of laboratory reports, using this experience to optimise the system for ease of use. The result is a platform that has enabled them to enter months of back data from their legacy systems in mere hours, and now manage their new workload in minutes.
Data (CFUs, operator, session etc.) entry is organised in a logical and common sense way and was modelled on real life practice by observing how our clients work.
The initial setup is to build your own database which is optionally wizard driven, customised entirely for the way you work. Simply specify a location – for example 'Cyto' the wizard then builds an entire set of plates based on common clean room operations; Cyto Sessional, Cyto Weekly, Cyto Monthly and so on. Use as many locations as you need... TPN, Radio Pharm, Aseptics, TPN... the plates are built automatially. Whats more these can be edited at any time in the future and will retain any information already entered agains them. Alternatively you can specify your own locations and build plates manually if you wish – you can even move them around, reorder them and so on.
The reporting system automatically adjusts to the locations and groups (which are a location / frequency pair) so you will always see the results in the way you have set things up; nothing else to change. Templates for typical clean room environments are provided too. See our simple training video for an entire pharmacy system – generated in under a minute!
Staff record CFU's from the plates in a simple and efficient process.
A group is first selected
CFU data is entered directly into the fields. This form shows, at the time of entry, the permissible levels of counts for each plate, along with notifications for in count, review levels, and failure levels. Operators can manually force a review even where the count is in limits if further investigation is indicated – for example the finding of a fungal colony. Visual icons show the status of the counts as they are entered so the operator can discard in limit plates or organise further incubation / send plates to the laboratory.
Lab staff are granted appropriate access to their area of interest. This enables them to see, in real-time, their current task list.
Lab workers can then enter their results directly into the platform and make any pertinent comments. The system is optionally capable of species level recording and uses a centralised organism reference.
As bench results are process by the lab these investigations are then moved to the laboratory executive who has the option of reviewing the results, and making recommendations, if desired. The lab and executive data is used extensively in the prevention / correction and reporting operations.
The prevention and correction teams can review their list of outstanding items at any time via the real-time task list aided by attached laboratory findings
The teams processing the list of outstanding tasks enter their notes on a simple to use data entry screen that also provides a graphical trend of previous results relevant to the plates being processed.
This typically ends the work flow of a plate, but there is more to see. On to reporting.
